CLOUGH, Mrs. Alice J.
Climax, MI Passed away Monday afternoon March 16, 2015 at her residence with her family at her side. Alice was born on May 30, 1936 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan a daughter of Kenneth and Mary Wolvin Rice. She was also a graduate of Western Michigan University. Alice had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her adult life and was employed with the Regional Medical Lab as a medical technician for 25 years before retiring. Alice was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers and a sister, John Rice, Milton Bruce Rice and Carol Ann DeClerk. On October 11, 1958, she married Ronald Clough who survives. Ronald had stated "This marriage of 57 years was the best years of my life". Also surviving are 2 children, Sue Clough of Kalamazoo and David Tonya Clough of Climax; 2 grandchildren, Justin Harper and David Clough; 2 sisters, Betty Dolan of Marysville, MI and Linda William Woods of Rochester, MI; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Private services and burial will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan or to the SPCA. Arrangements were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St.
