Of Cooper Township, MI Passed away Thursday evening, July 16, 2009. Alice was born July 16, 1913 in Cicero, IL the daughter of Thomas and Anna Minarik. Prior to her retirement she was employed for 25 years with the Kalamazoo Pant Companynow Redwood&Ross. Alice was a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church and enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James I. Mann in 1967; her second husband, Edmund Beaver in 1998; a son, James E. Mann; and infant daughter, Janet; grand daughter, Teresa; and three sisters. Surviving are three children, Jacqueline Sanfilippo, Frank Mann, Gregory Mann; five grandchildren, Rick Cynthia Sanfilippo, Anthony Sanfilippo, Jeff Sherrie Mann, Michele Mann, Melissa Brian Thompson; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held 11:00 o'clock Monday at the St. Mary Catholic Church, 939 Charlotte St. with Fr. David Grondz, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Sunday from 4-6 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick. Memorials may be directed to St. Mary Catholic Church, or Hospice Services of Southwest Michigan. www.langelands.com
