Alda I Snodgrass

SNODGRASS, Mrs. Alda I. Bloomingdale, MI Died Saturday afternoon March 10, 2007. Alda was born August 27, 1916 in Bono, Ohio a daughter of Elmer and Matilda LaCourse Cutcher. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and was employed with the Shakespeare Company years ago. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Joseph LaFountain; her second husband, Earl Doublestein; her third husband, Clarence Miller; her fourth husband, Vernon Snodgrass; and 9 sisters. She is survived by 5 children, Stanley Bonnie LaFountain of Paw Paw, Pauline Richards of Arkansas, Dean Fay Doublestein of Puducah, KY, and Mary McDonald and Norma Durham both of Kalamazoo; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Private services and burial will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation.
