Of Galesburg, Michigan Alan died Tuesday afternoon, February 17, 2009. He was born October 21, 1991 in Harvey, IL the son of Mark Chandler and Beth Eaton. Alan was currently attending Galesburg-Augusta High School as a junior; enjoyed playing high school football, working on cars, and spending time with his friends and family. Surviving are his parents, Mark Patti Marshall Chandler of Galesburg and Beth Tom Jorgensen Eaton of Three Rivers; 2 brothers, Matthew Chandler and Paulie Eaton; 1 sister, Hannah Eaton; 2 step-sisters, Chauntel and Gabrielle Marshall; 1 step-brother, Sam Marshall; grandfather, George Chandler of Allegan; grandmother, Mary Ann Eaton of Portage; special friend, Katie Miller; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services for Alan will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday at Kalamazoo Community Church, 2435 N. 26th Street, Comstock. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Comstock. Friends may visit with the family from 2-7 PM on Friday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
