VANDER WEELE, Adrian "Ade"
Of Kalamazoo, Michigan Ade VanderWeele, a man of God, went to be with his Lord at his daughters home Tuesday evening, September 2, 2008. Prior to his retirement in 1977 he worked as the Director of the Kalamazoo County Animal Control and was the owner of Van's Food on North Westnedge from 1947-1960. On June 9, 1937 he was united in marriage to the former Carolyn Roobol who preceded him in death on March 12, 2001. Surviving are 2 children, Mr. Paul VanderWeele of Libertyville, IL, Mrs. Beth Green of Niles, MI; 2 grandchildren, Andrew VanDonselaar in Iraq, Daniel VanDonselaar of California; 2 great-grandchildren, Andrew and Michael VanDonselaar of Georgia; 2 sisters, Margaret Luteyn, Wilhelmina Hoogendoorn. Services will be held 1:00PM Friday at the Third Reformed Church, 2345 N. 10th Street with Pastor Dar VanderWal and Mr. Franklin VanOosten officiating. Friends may meet the family Thursday evening from 6-8pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street and from 12-1:00 prior to the service at church. Private interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Third Reformed Church Youth Missions or Hospice at Home. www.langelands.com
