GREVENSTUK, Adolph C. Kalamazoo Passed away Monday, July 2, 2007 at the Springs at Bronson Place. Adolph was born May 26, 1911 in Chicago, IL, the son of Gerrit and Nellie Braak Grevenstuk. Prior to his retirement, he was employed for over 30 years at Hammond Machinery. Adolph was a long time member of Hope Reformed Church. He and his late wife Jennie enjoyed traveling and working together on craft projects. He was preceded in death by Jennie in 2000, by a daughter-in-law Janet Grevenstuk on May 17, 2007 and by 2 brothers, Jacob and Samuel Grevenstuk. Surviving are 2 sons, Garry Grevenstuk of Three Rivers and Harold Grevenstuk and wife Ellen of Kalamazoo; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter and a sister-in-law Cornelia Grevenstuk of Grand Rapids; many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2:00 o?clock Thursday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St. with the Rev. Kent Frens officiating. Private family interment at Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Friends may meet the family on Thursday beginning at 12:30 pm until service time at 2:00 pm at the Westside Chapel. Memorial contributions in Adolph?s memory may be directed to Hope Reformed Church.
