KOVACH, Adam J.
Of Kalamazoo, Michigan Adam passed away Monday afternoon, April 26, 2010 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born March 2, 1989 in Kalamazoo, the son of Randy Spencer and Diane Kovach Gettys. On December 4, 2009, he was united in marriage to Keturah Jones Kovach, who survives. Also surviving are their daughter, Ilona Purity Kovach; his mother, Diane Gettys; five sisters and three brothers, Christine Bill Fitzsimmons, Timmy Gettys, Chad Thrasher, Kelli Gettys, Jessica Eddie Lorenz, Amanda Spencer and Adam Tackett; nine nieces and nephews, Paige, Billy, Victoria, Alisha, Kala, Raeann, Jamie, Gavin, and Mason; grandmother, Pinky Spencer; favorite aunt, Marilyn Wilson; and several other aunts, uncles, and cousins. Adam enjoyed his dogs very much. He loved his family and loved his life. Adam considered himself to be a horticulturist. He always loved to ride the jet ski and be on the lake, and was an amateur MMA fighter, who wanted to go professional. Funeral services for Adam will be at 1:00 PM on Friday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street, where friends may visit with the family from 11:00 AM until the time of services. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be directed to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
