Adam Atkinson

Adam Atkinson, age 58 of Kalamazoo, was called Home by God on January 7, 2025. He was born on October 6, 1966, in Adrian, Michigan, the son of Eleazer Atkinson, Sr. and Maria DeLaPaz Atkinson. Adam was a special boy and was cherished by his family from the beginning. He loved time with his family and social groups. Adam loved music and was smiling when he was the deejay. He enjoyed gaming and met new friends online. His family includes his mother, Maria Atkinson; his brothers and sisters: Maria Anna Galvan, Eleazar (Joyce) Atkinson, Jr., Anthony Atkinson, Kathy Maldonado, and Donna Atkinson-Davila; his nieces and nephews: Ramone, Mario, Marylou, Vishawn, Elise, Eliseo, Sarah, Rachel, Angela, Erica, Amy, and Marcus; his great-nieces and nephews; his extended family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his father Eleazer R. Atkinson, Sr., Grandmother Kathryn Juarez, Grandfather Jose Juarez, Uncles Esteban Muro, Juan and Patrica Juarez, Jose Juarez Jr, David Juarez and cousin Juan Juarez Jr. 

A memorial service will be held for Adam in Adrian, Michigan soon. Please watch for details when they are finalized.
