Mattawan Passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2010. Aaron was born January 2, 1992 in Kalamazoo, a son of Kevin and Lori Willer Kahila and was a resident of the Mattawan area for 11 years. He graduated from Mattawan High School in 2009 and was currently attending Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Aaron loved playing the guitar, writing music and spending time with his 5 siblings. He attended Berean Baptist Church, sang in the Master Singers Chorale at Mattawan High School and served as a camp counselor at Camp Wakeshma for the past 2 summers. He also enjoyed many very good friends. Aaron is survived by his parents, Kevin & Lori Kahila of Mattawan; his 5 siblings, Annemarie, Adele, Alex, Abel and Alise Kahila, all of Mattawan; his grandparents, Larry & Phyllis Kahila of Sturgis, Thema Bennett of Kalamazoo and William Willer of White Pigeon; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM in the Berean Baptist Church, 7813 S. 12th St., with Pastors Steve Nichols and Chuck Pausley, officiating. Interment will take place in the Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St. on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
