Climax Passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 in Battle Creek, MI. Wretha was born July 18, 1922 in Vermontville, MI the daughter of Archie and Vera Weller Gorham. She was a resident of Climax for 40 years and lived in Battle Creek in her younger years. She graduated from Battle Creek Central. She attended Climax United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Kellogg 25 year club, retiring in 1982. She worked in the Quality Control Department. In 1966 she was united in marriage to Walter Skidmore who died in 2011. She was preceded in death by brothers Harold and Royal Gorham. She is survived by brother Russell Gorham, sister-in-law Dorothy Gorham and brother-in-law Douglas Becky Skidmore. She has 2 sons Larry Edna Gandy of Albion and Robert Debby Gandy of OR, and 3 step-sons Richard MaryAnn Skidmore of Scotts, Roger Sue Skidmore of Climax and Robert Skidmore of Scotts. Her grandchildren are Bryan Kristen Gandy, Erin Gandy and Melinda, Larry and Kevin Gandy, Jeanie George Everest, Sharon Randy Sult, Gary Skidmore, Jane David Foster, Carolyn Jon Lowry and Ellen Edward Allotta. She has 19 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation or funeral. A private family burial will be held at Gilson Cemetery, Scotts, MI.
