William Fred "Bill" Allen III

Allen III, William Fred "Bill" Of Kalamazoo, MI Passed away at his home on July 5, 2012. Age 45 years. He was born on June 25, 1967 the son of W. Fred Allen Jr. and the late Mary Kay Hynous Allen. He graduated from Hackett High School, where he played on the football team. He attended Albion College and Western Michigan University. Bill worked for Bronson Hospital for 18 years. He attended both St. Augustine Cathedral and First United Methodist Church. He was a former proud member of the Kalamazoo Rugby Team. Surviving are his father, W. Fred Lana Allen Jr. of Kalamazoo; four brothers, Jeff Jane Hamill Allen of Chicago, Steve VandenBussche of Kalamazoo, Jeff VandenBussche of Chicago and Mark Nancy VandenBussche of Minneapolis; five nieces and nephews, Charlie, George, Marleigh, Avery and Lily; many aunts, uncles and cousins throughout the country; and numerous friends and fellow co-workers. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at First United Methodist Church, 212 S. Park St. Rev. Douglas Vernon will officiate. Memorials may be made to Hackett Catholic Central High School Athletic Department.
