KENDRICK, Mr. Wayne E.
Kalamazoo, MI Died Sunday morning November 27, 2011 at his residence. Wayne was born June 18, 1930 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of Ralph and Martha Glover Kendrick. During the Korean War, he served with the U.S. Army. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of his life and was employed with several paper companies for 41 years, retiring from Georgia Pacific in 1994. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents. On May 18, 1955, he was united in marriage to Mary Ann Halstead Kendrick who survives. Also surviving, 3 children, Jeffrey Peggy Kendrick of Park Ridge, IL, Joel Lis Kendrick of Parchment, and Timothy Kendrick of Los Angeles, CA; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Ellen Russell Steinken of Des Plaines, IL and Elaine Gerald Bayuk of Madison, WI; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held 10 o'clock Saturday at the Westwood Christian Reformed Church, 620 Northampton. Private burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at a later date. The family requests no memorials or flowers. Arrangements were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St.
