Thomas John Zeedyk

Thomas John Zeedyk, age 70, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Ascension Borgess Hospital. Tom was born February 28, 1951 in Kalamazoo, the son of Richard and Marillyn (Ossewaarde) Zeedyk and had been a lifelong resident. For many years, prior to his retirement he worked as a welder for different manufacturing plants in the area. Tom was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and never found a dog that he didn't love.
On October 31, 1984, he was united in marriage to Nancy L. (Sinkler) Zeedyk, who preceded him in death on July 30, 2020. Tom was also preceded in death by his parents Richard and Marillyn Zeedyk and his son Jacob "Jake" Zeedyk.
Surviving are his son Thomas John "TJ" (Megan) Zeedyk; a sister Maryette (David) Stuut; a brother Lawrence "Larry" Zeedyk and many other special relatives and friends.
In accordance with Tom's wishes cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or services. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date on the family plot in Kalamazoo Riverside Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Tom's memory may be directed to The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA); or the Kalamazoo Humane Society.
