Thomas E. Skelton

Passed away Tuesday morning, June 25, 2019 at his residence. Tom was born November 26, 1943 in Kalamazoo the son of the late Max and Shirley (Baker) Skelton. He was employed for over 30 years with Meijer as a butcher in the meat department. Tom enjoyed camping trips to Lake Superior, hunting, fishing, woodworking, and collecting rocks. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Tom is survived by his wife Carrie (Foster); children, Thomas Jr. (Missy) Skelton, Cheryl Cadwell, Jill (Rob) Geren, Lorie Skelton; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother and sisters, Steve (Barb) Skelton, Jan Conkle, Darlene Cole; the mother of his children, Sharon; and his beloved dog "Lady". There will be no visitation. A memorial service for Tom will be held Sunday, July 21 at 3:00 PM at En Gedi Campground, 30321 Covey Road, Leonidas, MI 49066. Memorials may be directed to the Kalamazoo Humane Society.
