Steven W. Schuldt

SCHULDT, Steven W. of Kalamazoo, Michigan Steve passed away Thursday morning, February 20, 2014, at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. He was born on January 7, 1950 in Lansing, MI. Steve was employed by Western Michigan University for over 20 years until his retirement in 1992. He was an avid sports fan. But most of all, Steve loved his family and friends, especially his daughter, son-in-law and grandsons. Surviving are his daughter, Michelle Eugene Erdos of Kalamazoo; two grandsons, Chandler Erdos and Nolan Jones; sister, Charlotte Schuldt of Colorado Springs, CO; two brothers, Denny and Ron Thedford; and former wives, Rebecca Vandermeeden and Diane Schuldt. Preceding him in death was his parents, Arthur and Edna LeCraw Schuldt. Honoring Steve's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A memorial service to celebrate Steve's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 24, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street, with Rev. James Dyke officiating. A reception will follow the service at the funeral home. Private inurnment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
