Roger Allan Schultz

Roger Schultz, 67, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018. He was born September 15, 1950 to the late Victor and Dorothy (Leitz) Schultz. Roger was united in marriage to Pamela Kay Boyer on December 18, 1971. Roger loved to fish and hunt. As a member of the Michigan Chestnut Growers Association, he planted hundreds of chestnut trees for wildlife. He received his Bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University. Roger is survived by his wife, Pamela Kay Schultz; brother, William "Bill" (Denise) Schultz; nephews, Bill, Dan and Andy; niece, Robyn; and sister-in-law, Brenda Jean Boyer. He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Schultz. The family will greet friends on Thursday, May 24th from 9-11am at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 East Centre Ave., where a funeral service will begin at 11:00am. A private interment will be in Portage South Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to a charity of your choice.
