KILGORE, Mr. Robert G.
Portage, MI Died Wednesday morning December 15, 2010 at his residence. Robert was born November 16, 1957 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of Gerald and Jean Van Liere Kilgore. He had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with Sears for over 30 years. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Kilgore in 1984. On June 29, 2001, he was united in marriage to Deborah "Deb" K. Stopher Kilgore who survives. Also surviving, 2 step children, Angela Ron Brierly of Richland and Russell Weller of Kalamazoo; 3 grandchildren, Olivia, Trenton, and Ava; his mother, Jean Kilgore of Portage; 2 sisters, Elaine Robert Flegal of Kalamazoo and Sherry Lentz of Portage; nieces and nephews, Cristina Chad Hammond of Jackson, MI, Michael Jen Martinson of Portage, Eric DeVries of Grand Rapids, and Jenn and Chase Lentz both of Portage; 5 great nieces; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his 3 dogs. A memorial service will be held 11 o'clock Monday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th St. Friends may meet the family 2-4 Sunday.
