Robert Steven Husted

Robert Steven Husted Bob died unexpectedly at his home in Geneva, IL on October 6, 2010 of natural causes. Bob was born on August 22, 1963 to Richard and Marcia Wilcox Husted, Sr. Preceding him in life were his father Richard Husted, Sr, a sister Roxanne Husted and a brother Richard Husted, Jr. He is survived by his wife of six months, Cathy Husted, who was the love of his life; his mother, Marcia Husted; sisters Nancy Hudson and Launa Larry Rogers. Also surviving are his nephews, Rick Natalie Husted III, Dr Matthew Guthaus and Billy Rogers; his nieces, Sue Dziewicki, Chris Dziewicki, Maggie Keehbauch and Elizabeth Kent Will. Bob was a swimmer at Kalamazoo Central High School and graduated from Kendall Culinary School of Chicago. Bob loved to cook and was well known for his Jamaican Jerk Rub. Bob loved having a good time with his family & friends and loved attending concerts of varied venues such as blues, reggae, rock and roll and of course ol' blue eyes, Frank Sinatra. Services will be held in Geneva, IL at Malone Funeral Home ph 630 232-8233 and Saturday October 9th at 1:00 pm. A memorial service will be held in Kalamazoo on October 16th at 2:00 pm at the Langeland Funeral Home on 3926 S. 9th Street, Oshtemo, MI from 2 - 4 pm.
