BRADSHAW, Mr. Robert L.
of Augusta, Michigan Robert L. Bradshaw, age 65, died on Monday evening, March 17, 2014, in Kalamazoo, MI. He was born on September 6, 1948 in Kalamazoo, MI a son of the late George and Tessie Rustenholtz Bradshaw and had been a lifelong area resident. Following graduation from Comstock High School, Robert entered the US Army serving two years with the 1st Infantry Division during the Vietnam War. Robert was a fan of NASCAR, a coin collector and enjoyed playing Phase 10 with his family. He loved his family and getting together with them. Robert is survived by: five brothers, George Jeannie Bradshaw of Kalamazoo, David Dawn Bradshaw of Jacksonville, NC, Kenneth Marina Bradshaw, Sr. of Kalamazoo, Thomas Bradshaw of Augusta and Richard Mary Storey Bradshaw of Kalamazoo; six sisters, Patricia Marvin Shanley of Galesburg, Barbara Richard Carruth of Portage, Maxine David Cyr of Traverse City, Sandra Chuck Ormanovich of Kalamazoo, Wanda Bradshaw of Portage and Nancy Tyrone Ward of Three Rivers; and many, many nieces and nephews. Services will be held 11:00 Saturday morning at Kalamazoo Missionary Church, 5045 E. Michigan, with Pastor Ken Smeader, officiating. Robert's family will receive guests at the church beginning at 10:00 and again following the service. Interment with military honors will be held 11:00 Monday morning at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Those wishing to attend should meet in the cemetery cortege area by 10:45 Monday morning. Memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements were made by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St.
