Age 87 Passed away Monday July 8th, 2013 at his home. Bob was born July 7th, 1926 in Kalamazoo, son of William and Helen Bonte Campbell. Bob was raised on Long Lake and as a young man enlisted in the Navy where he became a Veteran of WWII. After leaving the Navy he began his life long career as a residential/commercial builder. In his retirement he wintered in Stuart Florida were he enjoyed friends and fishing. Surviving are his children Gay Lou Brown Jay, Caren Braymer Michael Kruk, Robert Bonte Barbara, and Mary Beth Bonte with 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Billy. Friends may gather Saturday July 13th from 5 to 8 pm at Langeland Funeral Home, 411 East Centre Ave. Portage MI. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the charity of your choice.
