Passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2017. Age 76. Richard was born in Harvey, IL on December 14, 1940, the son of the late John and Ruth (Hixson) Setty. He worked as a Pressman for R.R. Donnelley and Sons, where he retired. He was currently employed by the Greater Kalamazoo Auto Auction in Schoolcraft. He was a member of Centerpoint Church. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed golf & playing bass guitar. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Gloria (Broze) Setty; two children, Jill (Scott) Gernaat and Allan Setty; one granddaughter, Hannah Gernaat; brother, James (Meredith) Setty and sister, Lynne (Charles) Hawkins; three sisters-in-law, Arlene Habegger, Cynthia Broze and Betsey Broze; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, June; and one brother-in-law, Larry Broze. Cremation has taken place and no public service is planned at this time.
