Richard A. Huss

Died Thursday evening November 10, 2016. Richard was born July 7, 1933 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of Clifford and Lucillle (Logsdon) Huss. He served with the U.S. Army. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of his life and was employed with KVP Paper Company for over 30 years before retiring. Richard was also a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Joanne Huss in 1983; his second wife, Joyce Huss of 1995; and an infant brother, Ronald Huss. Survivors include, Nancy Huss, 3 children, Cheryl (Mark) Warnicke of Kalamazoo, Patricia (Michael) Caldwell of Warrensburg, MO, and Thomas (Kathy Fawley) Huss of Portage; 6 grandchildren, Heather (John) Campbell, Whitney Turner, Dillon (Claudia) Huss, Jake Turner, Josie Huss and Elsie Warnicke; a great-grandchild, Willow Cooksey; a sister, Sue Ann (Richard) Ciesa of Dayton, OH; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held 11 o'clock Thursday, December 22nd at the First United Methodist Church, 212 S. Park St. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the church. Graveside services will be held 1 o'clock Thursday in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Disabled American Veterans. Arrangements were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St.
