Phillip "Phil" Piper

Phillip "Phil" Ray Piper, 76, passed away August 6, 2019. He was born October 23, 1942 in Battle Creek, Michigan to the late Harold N. and Barbara E. (Martin) Piper.
Phil graduated from Climax-Scotts High School in 1960. He worked for Fuller Transmissions (Eaton) and eventually retired from Kendall Electric. Phil enjoyed golfing, bowling, and hunting.
Phil was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Piper; parents; and grandmother, Gertrude (Day) Martin.
He is survived by his sons, Tim (Teri), Troy (JJ), and Trent (Jenni) Piper; grandchildren, Taylor, Tacey, Zack (Sara), Rusty (Emily), Lakeyn, Isabella, Savannah, Hunter, Caleb, Riley, Grant, and Lucas; great-granddaughter, Khloe; brother, Leon (Karen) Piper; step-daughters, Megan and Theresa and their families; as well as several cousins and a niece, Lisa.
A visitation will take place Thursday, August 15 from 5-8:00 PM at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 205 East Maple St, Climax, Michigan 49034.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
