Pamela Lynn (Burnham) Scheick

Pamela Lynn Scheick, age 70 of Portage, died peacefully at home under hospice care on December 13, 2021. She was born January 5, 1951, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Daniel and Virginia (Bayn) Burnham. Pamela was a graduate of Plainwell High School in 1969 and attended Western Michigan University. She worked as a line coordinator for Upjohn Company, until her retirement in 2000. Pamela enjoyed sewing, reading, and traveling. The greatest joy of her life was spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Her family includes her husband, Steve; her son Douglas (Jamie) Thomas and his father Dennis Thomas; her stepchildren: Craig (Lisa) Scheick and Samantha (T.J.) Neubert; her grandchildren: Annelisa Thomas, Colton Neubert, Caleb Neubert, Noah Scheick, and Dylan Price; her brothers and sisters: Daniel (Kathy) Burnham II, Toni Otero, Dennis (Cindi) Burnham, Jeff (Carol) Burnham, and Tim (Mary) Burnham; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Mark Thomas. Friends may visit with her family on Friday, December 17, 2021, from 6:00-8:00 PM, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Burial & Cremation Services, 411 East Centre Avenue, Portage, MI 49002.
