Pam Bevier, 63 of Portage, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021, after a 10 year battle with MS and Alzheimer's. She was at home with family at her side. She was born on December 31, 1957 in Kalamazoo to Jack and Shirley Jadkowski. United in marriage to Jim Bevier, September 27, 1980.
Pam is survived by her husband of 40 years, Jim, daughter Caiti (Jon) Woldhuis, son Jacob (Carmen) Bevier, grandchildren; Skylar, Logan, Hayden, Emmy and Cole. Pam also leaves behind special friends Jack and Deneen Osmun.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Shirley.
Pam graduated from Portage Central High School, she then went on to complete her education at Nazareth College where she received a Bachelors Degree. She had a dedicated career as a Medical Technologist at Borgess Hospital from which she retired after 34 years. Pam was beautiful, cheerful, with an infectious laugh. She was a dedicated, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Pam was an avid reader and soccer mom. She loved the water as a boating wife and also enjoyed traveling. She is much loved and will be deeply missed.
Cremation has taken place for Pam. The family would like to thank Kindred Hospice for their loving and compassionate care of Pam and the family. Donations in Pam's honor may be made to Kindred Hospice.
