Noah Isaac Rutherford

Noah Isaac Rutherford, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. Noah was born in Smith, Kentucky on March 8, 1946 to the late Claude and Linda (Pittman) Rutherford. He married Gesina Elizabeth Nuyen on October 23, 1965 and together they raised four children. They were happily married for 38 years until her death in 2003. He worked doing fabrication for Stryker for over 17 years until his retirement. Noah enjoyed fishing, tinkering with lawnmowers and gardening.

Surviving Noah are his four children, Dale Rutherford, Elizabeth Eagle, Linda Moore, and Fredericka Wall; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 9 siblings, Rankin "RE" Rutherford, Ralph Rutherford, Henry Rutherford, Gary Rutherford, Ommer Rutherford, Ruby Houck, Loretta Bingham, Lola Hickman and Charlene Boger. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Steven Isaac Lee Moore; nephew, Orville Johnson; brothers, JD Rutherford, JC Rutherford, Fred Rutherford Jr., George Hensley; and sisters, Mary (Rutherford) Johnson and Bertha (Rutherford- Simpson) Harbin.

The family will greet friends Sunday, November 7th from 1:00p- 4:00p at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 622 S Burdick St Kalamazoo, MI 49007. A graveside service will be held Monday, November 8th at 3:00p at Riverside Cemetery in Kalamazoo. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Diabetes Foundation or American Cancer Society in memory of Noah.
