Passed away Saturday, December 4, 2015 after a brief illness and battle with effects from Crohn's disease, at the age of 35. He was born July 9, 1980 in New Haven, CT, to Frank and Donna (Labonte) Avitable. He was united in marriage to Rosemary "Rose" on April 26, 2003, who survives. Nick is survived by his wife, Rose Avitable; daughter, Ellie; a little boy soon to arrive; his parents, Frank and Donna Avitable; brother, Frank Avitable; mother and father-in-law, James and Rhonda Dennis, Sr; brothers-in-law, James (Michelle) Dennis, Jr., and Jeremy (Shelly) Dennis; and several nieces and nephews. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, December 9th from 11-1:00 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., where a memorial service will begin at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Nick's name may be directed to the family for his children's education.
