Of Galesburg Nettie passed away Monday afternoon, September 5, 2011 at Laurels of Galesburg. She was born August 14, 1926 in Battle Creek, the daughter of Charles and Eva Rugg Fish. On July 3, 1948, she was united in marriage to Robert E. Ashcraft, who preceded her in death on September 1, 1995. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one son, Robert Lee Ashcraft; and one brother, Charles Fish. Surviving are son, Paul Ashcraft of Bangor; granddaughter, Jennifer; sister, Janet Srackangast of Comstock; and brother, Larry Parker. Memorial services for Nettie will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 16, at Kalamazoo Missionary Church, 5045 E. Michigan Avenue.
