Naomi R. "Honey" Elwell

ELWELL, Mrs. Naomi R. "Honey" Kalamazoo, MI Died Thursday evening January 6, 2011. Naomi was born March 10, 1918 in Marshall, Michigan a daughter of William and Anna Sigrist Reyer. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and was a member of the Milwood United Methodist Church. Naomi also volunteered as a Gray Lady with Bronson Hospital for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Homer Elwell in 1981. Naomi is survived by 2 sons, Richard Lynn Elwell of Ann Arbor, MI and Robert Jan Elwell of Richland; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; a brother, Frederick Reyer of Marshall, MI; and two nephews. Private services will be held in Oakridge Cemetery, Marshall, MI at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission or Loaves and Fishes.
