POMEROY, Mrs. Mary E.
Kalamazoo, MI Died Monday afternoon May 11, 2009. Mary was born July 30, 1912 in Tocsin, Indiana a daughter of John and Elizabeth Wisehaupt Reynolds. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and was employed with the Upjohn Company for 30 years before retiring. She also helped organize the Kalamazoo Rose Society and served as a judge at National Rose Conventions for 40 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Noel Pomeroy in 1989; 6 brothers; and 3 sisters. She is survived by a niece, Marilyn Gochenour of Bourbon, IN; a nephew, William Reynolds of Ft. Wayne, IN; and several other nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 1 o'clock Saturday in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
