Passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at the age of 29. Mark was born June 9, 1988 in Kalamazoo to Jeannine Schmidt. Mark is survived by his maternal grandmother, Norma Simmons; sister, Laurie (Ricky) Tabor; uncle, Bill (Debra Mary) Schmidt; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Jeannine Schmidt. The family will greet friends on Saturday, June 24th from 10-11am at Lutheran Church of the Savior, 3616 East G Ave., Kalamazoo, MI 49004, where a funeral service will begin at 11am. A private burial will take place at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mark's name may be directed to Special Olympics or to the church.
