For many years she volunteered for the Christian School Association and the American Cancer Society. She was an avid reader, knitter, weaver, and gardener. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Kathryn. A private burial was performed in Riverside Cemetery, Kalamazoo. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Memorial donations may be directed to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
