Passed peacefully on November 14, 2015 at Borgess Medical Center. Larry was born on August 16, 1937 to Lorenzo and Muriel (Pettit) Coe in Allegan, Michigan. He had 6 children, 2 have preceded him in death. Daughter Shannon Coe and Son Larry Coe. Leaving behind, daughter Stacee (Jim) Cunningham, son James Coe, daughter Carla (Tom) Peck, son Jack (Kathy) Coe; 8 grandchildren, Daniel, Johnathon, Jesse, Evan, Nathan, Nicole ,Morgan, Haley and 4 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Wilma and Connie; and a special nephew, Rick (Pam) Locker. He also had 2 step daughters, Wendeva (Steve) Allen and Stormeda (Mike) Mezo; 2 grandchildren Chaz & Laci; 3 great grandchildren. Larry was a fun guy and everyone loved him. He loved his rock and roll music, dancing, hanging with his family, holidays and watching his WWE. He will be missed by so many. As he would always say... . I'm in the wind! Friends may meet the family on Thursday, November 19 from 11-12:00pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street where a funeral service will follow at 12:00pm. Interment will follow in Ft. Custer National Cemetery with full military honors. Memorials may be directed to the Kalamazoo Humane Society.
