Of Kalamazoo Passed away Sunday evening, January 30, 2011. Lois was born February 14, 1938 in Valparaiso, IN the daughter of Charles and Helen Mace Clouse. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. On July 29, 1984 Lois was united in marriage to her loving husband, James Eckert, who survives. Also surviving are her children, Robert Gail Fisher, Cheryl Bruce Hopkins, Christina Scott Shepard; 7 grandchildren, Jenna Fisher, Michael Fisher, Kyle McKim, Zachary Hopkins, Sara Hopkins, Madison Shepard, and Mason Shepard; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers and sister, Robert Linda Clouse, Duane Linda Clouse, Dennis Carol Clouse, Nancy Jose Ponce; and several nieces and nephews. Lois was preceded in death by 4 brothers. A service to celebrate Lois' life will be held at 11:00 o'clock Thursday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street with Pastor Jim Dyke officiating. Friends may meet the family Thursday from 10:00-11:00 at the chapel. Private family interment will be at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Multiple Sclerosis Association. www.langelands.com
