Lindsey Nicole Vandenburg

Lindsey Nicole Vandenburg, age 26 of Mendon, died after an accidental fall on November 23, 2019. She was born April 13, 1993 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Lindsey was attending the West Michigan College of Beauty and Barbering, as well as engaging in women's rights activism in collaboration with the DOULA group and Prison Birth Project on college campuses across Michigan. Her family includes her daughter Ember Rayne Vandenburg; her mother Kimberly Lewis; her father Steve Humiston; her brothers and sisters: Chad Lewis, Heather Hulbert, Logan Strickler, and Brianna Sparks; her girlfriend Crystal Curtis; her close friends Zachary and Christianna Mousseau; and other extended friends and family. Visitation will be from 1 PM to 4 PM on Sunday, December 1st, 2019, at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 3926 S 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009.
