Larry Henry Rupp

Larry H. Rupp of Saginaw, MI passed away peacefully on February 17, 2022, at the age of 81 years. He was surrounded by family. Larry was born on June 5, 1940, in Saginaw, to William and Clara Rupp (preceded in death). He was the second oldest of four children, William Rupp of Cedar Rapids, IA (preceded in death), Robert and Darlene Rupp of Rochester Hills, MI and Janet Rupp of Saginaw, MI. Larry graduated high school from Arthur Hill High School in Saginaw. He then moved on to receive his bachelor's degree in business from Central Michigan University. During this time, he was also a part of The National Ski Patrol.

In 1964, Larry started working for Wolohan Lumber Co., until his retirement from the company in 1998. Shortly after this, he worked for Wal-Mart as a manager until he fully retired in the mid-2000s.

Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He also liked to teach a hard lesson on how to play Euchre and Cribbage to anyone that had the courage to play with or against him. He also loved to watch the deer that would come into his yard at his home.

Larry married Susan Rogers of Saginaw on July 27, 1968. She preceded him in death in September of 1999. Surviving Larry are 5 children, 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. His children are Anne (Aaron) Shuff of West Branch, MI, Michael (Karen) Rupp of Marshall, MI, Stephen (Judy) Rupp of Kalamazoo, MI, Brian (Candi) Rupp of Flushing, MI, and Amanda (Matthew) Funke of Sioux Falls, SD.

The family is planning a celebration of Larry's life later this year in the summer. A date is to be determined.
