BOLLE, Mr. Larry P.
of Kalamazoo With his family gathered near him, Larry died at his home Wednesday morning, June 1, 2011, and went to be with his Lord and Savior. He was born November 3, 1940, in Kalamazoo, MI, a son of Marinus and Jennie Damsma Bolle and had been a lifelong area resident. After graduating from Kalamazoo Christian High School, Larry served in the US Army from 1959 to 1962. He was employed by the Upjohn Company for many years before retiring in 2004. Larry was a member of Third Reformed/Centerpoint Church and served as the custodian there for 36 years. Larry also owned and operated R & S Maids and More for 15 years. He was preceded in death by his parents. On October 14, 1966, Larry was united in marriage with the former Ruth Ann Napp, who survives. Also surviving are: three children and their spouses, Pamela Scott Sinotte, Dawn Chris Penning and Michael Karen Bolle; eight grandchildren, Tyler, Taylor and Abigail Sinotte, Kyle and Rachel Penning, Emily and Maleah Bolle, and Malynda Martin; a sister, Delores Richard Kloosterman; a brother, Arlyn Robyn Bolle; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday from 2-4 & 6-8pm at Centerpoint Church, 2345 North 10th Street. Services will be held 11:00 Tuesday morning at the church with Rev. Dr. Jeffrey Porte, officiating. Private interment will be held in Mount Ever Rest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, Larry�s family requests memorials be directed to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals ASPCA or to the Centerpoint Custodial Fund.
