Of Kalamazoo Landyn passed away Thursday, January 6, 2011. He was born on Sunday, November 28th 2010 to parents Ryan Hendricks and Cody Majewski, of Kalamazoo, at Bronson Methodist Hospital of Kalamazoo, MI. He weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces and was 19 inches long. Landyn's family was blessed enough to have him home for the holidays during his 6 week stay with us before he went to be with our Lord. He passed after losing a battle with complications brought on by a birth defect. Landyn was surrounded by his parents and family. He will always remain their precious baby and they will hold him again in heaven one day. Landyn is survived by his parents; grandparents, Robert and Joanne Hendricks of Manchester and Gary and Kelly Majewski of Vicksburg; aunts, Casey Majewski of Vicksburg and Carrie Richard Stewart of Otsego; uncles, Jamie Majewski of Vicksburg and Sean Clifford of Manchester; along with close friends, Marianne Cagney of Vicksburg, Doug Haysteck and Kaylee Schuring both of Portage, Amber Hamming of Vicksburg, and Jessica Mallwitz of Galesburg.
Landyn was a brief gift to us that will live on forever in the love of his family.
A Memorial Service will be held in remembrance of Landyn at 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at the gracespring Bible Church formerly Richland Bible Church, 8643 Gull Road, Richland, MI., where friends may visit with the family from 11:00 AM until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Bronson Methodist Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit NICU due to the exceptional care they provided for Landyn.
