Loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and wife, died unexpectedly on October 20, 2015 at Borgess Gardens. She was born on January 24, 1965, to Harold and Linda (Haas) Burgan in Camp Springs, Maryland. Kimberly attended Lutheran Church of the Savior and was a member of Beta Sigma Phi International. She loved to read and listen to classic rock or country music. Her family will remember fondly the trips up north to the cabin and snowmobiling. Kimberly was a night owl who loved to stay up all night with M.J. She will be greatly missed by her parents; husband, Michael L. Ferguson of Paw Paw; son, Michael J. (Brittany) Ferguson of Marcellus; granddaughter, Hannah Rena; siblings, Marjorie (Jeff) Grimes of Aulander, NC; James (Beth) Burgan of Rockledge, FL; Angela (Jim) Kuerbitz of Lansing; LeAnne (Don Bowling) Burgan of Paw Paw; Dawn (Ray) Esseltine of Kendalville, IN; Ariana (David Harper) Chaffin of Kalamazoo; Roman Burgan of Kalamazoo; and Edward Burgan of Little Rock, AR. Also surviving are her mother-in-law, Janice Barbee of Stanwood; nieces and nephews, Allan, Andrew, Jennie, Christy, Sara, Callahan, Jack, Tyler, Kevin, Raymand, Kaylee, Megan, Madison, Dillon, Amanda, Tori, Karena, Kylie and Aaron. Kimberly was preceded in death by her grandparents, Norman and Marjorie Haas, Lawrence and Beatrice Burgan, and Al Barbee. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd, at 12:00 pm, at the Lutheran Church of the Savior, 3616 E. G Ave. 49004. Friends may visit with the family at the church starting at 11:00 am. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association (local chapter) or Michigan Commission for the Blind.
