Kenneth Marvin Norris

Kenneth Marvin Norris, 87, passed away October 28, 2019. He was born November 6, 1931 in Trumann, Arkansas to the late William and Irene Norris.

Ken served in the United States Army for two years in the Seattle, Washington area. He was employed by General Motors for 40 years and worked for the Greater Kalamazoo Auto Auction for 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Steven Norris.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Elwanda (Tate) Norris; children, Gayla Norris and Keith (Glynn) Norris; daughter-in-law, Patti Norris; grandchildren, Christopher Beck, Katie Monastiere, Michelle Norris, Jennifer Potter, Ashley Andrews, and Josayn Hemm; as well as twelve great-grandchildren.

Family will greet friends Thursday, October 31, 2019 from 5-8:00 PM at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 3926 S 9th St, Kalamazoo, Michigan 49009, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, November 1 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Ft. Custer National Cemetery with full military honors will follow at 1:00 PM.
