WEAVER, Kathryn A. Cekander
Rochester Hills, MI Died October 26, 2013 at age 90. She was born December 31, 1922 the daughter of Fred and Myrtie Cekander in Three Rivers, MI. She attended Three Rivers High School where she graduated in June of 1941. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and seven sisters. She married Stanley E. Weaver of Kalamazoo on June 23, 1951. Stanley passed away on June 12, 2000. Surviving are two daughters Sandra Steven Sands of Troy, MI and Sally Paul Bullock of Brighton, CO; 5 grandchildren, Nicholas Sands, Tyler Bullock, Shane Katie Bullock and Kaymara Bullock; two brothers-in-law, John Joanie Weaver and Ed Nederhoed; sisters-in-law, Barbara Herschel Largent, Margie Wayne McCarver, Donna House and Gail Weaver; two very special friends Donna Stratton and Carol Hogg; and many, many wonderful nieces and nephews. She enjoyed traveling, reading, scrapbooking, gardening and playing cards with her family and especially her grandchildren. She was a Golden Eagle member of the Three Rivers Auxiliary. The family will greet friends on Wednesday from 5-8 pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 East Centre Ave., where a funeral service will take place Thursday at 11:00 am. A private interment will be in Peek Cemetery, Florence Twp., St. Joseph County. Memorials may be directed to Susan B. Komen Cancer fund or to Make-A-Wish Foundation.
