June D. Vandenboss

VANDENBOSS, June D. Passed away September 24, 2014 at age 82. June was born June 21, 1932 in Kalamazoo to the late Louie and Doris Hubbard Gould. She was united in marriage to James Vandenboss on September 14, 1973, who survives. Among June's hobbies and interests were collecting dolls, crocheting, picture designing, sewing and dancing. She had been a restaurant owner for several years. June is survived by her husband, Jim; her children, Paul Stanke and David Stanke; 3 grandchildren; sister, Linda Homan; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Family will greet friends on Sunday, September 28th from 2-4pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Climax Chapel, 205 East Maple St., where the funeral service will be held Monday at 11:30. Interment will follow at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorials in June's name may be directed to the Humane Society of Calhoun County.
