Julie Ann DeCamp passed away Saturday morning August 22, 2015 at the age of 51. Julie was born August 1, 1964 in Gardena, CA. The daughter of Lyndel and Barbara Johnson. Raised in Allegan, she lived for some time in Kalamazoo, but grew to make her home in the Gobles/Bloomingdale area. Julie was employed as a customer service rep with Bloomingdale Communications for the past several years. She was a very hard worker and thoroughly enjoyed being involved in her community. When not working, she loved dancing and singing Karaoke. Her biggest pleasure was spending time surrounded by family and friends, especially her grandchildren. As a woman of character she endlessly gave, always helping others. Julie was incredibly loved by all she touched. Julie's life and family was made complete on May, 17, 2002, when she was united in marriage to her loving husband Cary DeCamp, who survives. Also surviving are her children, Morgan (Joshua) Shue, Christian DeCamp, Casey DeCamp, Cody DeCamp, Leslie (Travis) Verile, Jaimee (Justin) StClair; her 7 grandchildren, Lennox, Kenny, Colton, Karson, Kaidan, Olivia, and Owen; her father Lyndel Johnson; her mother Barbara (Harold) Morgan; sister and brothers, Linda (Miles) Fifer, Michael (Tracy) King, Scott (Jody) Johnson; and several nieces and nephews. She leaves a life full of wonderful memories for all of those she loved and who loved her. Julie's services will be held at 11:30am, Thursday, August 27th at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street. Interment will follow in Ft. Custer National Cemetery at 1:00pm. Friends may meet the family Wednesday evening from 6-8pm at the Westside Chapel. Following the committal at Ft. Custer there will be a luncheon hosted by Julie's employer, Bloomingdale Communications at 2:30 (101 W. Kalamazoo Street, Bloomingdale, MI 49096). Memorials may be directed to Julie's Go Fund Me Page (DeCamp Family Fund).
