Julia passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015 at the age of 89. She was born July 26, 1926 in Battle Creek, MI to the late Nicholas and Inez (Bennett) Hoffman, Jr. Julia was united in marriage to Earl "Red" Thomas Campbell on February 2, 1948, who preceded her in death in September of 1995. Julia is survived by her children, Connie Campbell and David (Linda) Campbell; daughter-in-law, Annette Campbell; 5 grandchildren, Tricia (David) Spiker, Cristin (Gary) Grice, Brad Clock, Laura Campbell and Matt Campbell; 3 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren; and her beloved canine companion, Annie. She was also preceded in death by a son, Scott Campbell; and half-brother, Robert Farleigh. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 from 10-11am at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 East Centre Ave., where a funeral service will take place at 11am. A private committal will be in South Portage Cemetery. Memorials in Julia's name may be directed to Hospice Care of S.W. Michigan.
