Joan Otte

March 27, 1929 — December 18, 2015

Went to be with her Lord on Friday, December 18, 2015 at the age of 86. She was born March 27, 1929 in Kalamazoo, to the late James and Dena (Holthouse) Roelofs. Joan was united in marriage to Leon Otte on November 22, 1947, who preceded her in death in November of 2014. Joan is survived by her sons, Kenneth Otte and Dennis (Divina) Otte; grandchildren, Angel (Erik) Schoof, Troy (Julie) Otte, Joel (Katy) Otte, Kathryn (Erik) Kratz and Kristen Otte; 2 great grandchildren; and sister, Joyce (Robert) Green. A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, December 23rd, 11:00 am at Second Reformed Church, 2323 Stadium Drive, Kalamazoo, followed by a luncheon. Rev. Kevin Hart will officiate. A private family interment will take place at a later date at Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
