Jimmie fisher passed away on 7/23/2020 at Park Village pines assisted living facility in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was born
On January 25, 1924 to Katie Jackson Fisher and Elva Fisher in Bloomfield, Missouri. Upon his high school graduation from Bloomfield high school he enlisted in the United States Navy and was a trained electronics airman.
Jimmie was married to his first wife, Frances Fisher (Taylor) for 24 years. He had two biological children Kimberly (Thomas A Love, Jr) of Kalamazoo, MI and James Michael Fisher (deceased). He is survived by grandchildren Thomas Amery Love III, (Park Rapids,MN), Nicholas Alexander James Love, (Kalamazoo)and John Parhomski (Saint Louis)and Great Grandchild Mal'akhai Alexander Ezekiel Love(Kalamazoo). Jimmie was preceded in death by his only sister, Geneva Crank, who also passed away at age 96. He is survived by several extended family members in the Dexter, MO area and 3 Stepsons: Steve Bowman, Rick Bowman, and Danny Bowman who reside in MO.
Jimmie was United in marriage to Virginia Fisher (Bowman)for over 40 years and retired in Dexter, Missouri with Ginny in their home that was so beautifully decorated by Ginny.

Jimmie was a successful owner for many years. He was the owner and operator of a gas station, hotel, car lot, and managed body shops. He enjoyed golfing with his friends. He adored his golf cart and riding lawn mower. Most of all he adored his wife and visited her everyday at the nursing home until he relocated. Jimmie spent part of his last years being doted on by his family and was served steak dinners 3x a week. Family pet Louie frequently visited Jimmie and always brought a smile to his face as he would give him a treat.
