Janina "Jani" Wait

Janina Wait, 94, of Allegan, Michigan, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2019. Janina "Jani" Wait, was born May 30, 1925, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She graduated from Michigan State University, and was employed by the Allegan General Hospital as a Medical Technologist. She is survived by her niece, Karen (Stuart) Hartlep of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, grand-niece Leah Hartlep of Garden City, Iowa, nephew, James (Roberta) Grimes of Pasadena, California, and niece, Peg (Patrick) Wolf of East Lansing, Michigan. Jani was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Wait, her parents, John and Stefania (Klosinska) Dzialowski, sisters Stefania (Robert) Rue, and Marya (Merwin) Grimes, brother Mieczyslaw Dzialowski, niece Victoria Rue, and nephew, Stefan Rue.

Jani enjoyed traveling, leading a quiet but eventful life, caring for others and her canine companion, Ladybug.
