Jacqueline D. Hamilton, died March 27, 2021, at Borgess Medical Center. Jacqueline was born September 21, 1937 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Cleo and Muriel (Lester) Hettinger. She graduated from Comstock High School. On November 24, 1961, Jacqueline married Wilfred J. Hamilton. They shared 59 beautiful years together. She worked as a bookkeeper for Will's business and volunteered at the Borgess Gift Shop for 35 years. Jacqueline enjoyed gardening, garage sales, playing games, and reading. Above all, she was devoted to her family and loved spending time with them. They include her husband Wilfred Hamilton; her children: Scott (Cheryl) Hamilton, Casey (John) Brandt, and Cindy (Ed) Finch; her grandchildren: Nicholas Brandt, E.J. Finch, Gabrielle Brandt, and Evan Finch; her brother Gary (Carolyn) Hettinger; her sister Sharon (Dan) Fry; her sister-in-law Lois Hettinger; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, LaVerne and Eddie Hettinger. A private viewing will be held at Langeland Funeral Home in addition to a private service with burial at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
