Jack C. Stevens

Passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2014. Jack was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on June 9, 1929, the son of the late Orlo Stevens and Cecile Stevens Ackerson. Jack worked most of his life at Kalamazoo Sheet Metal until retiring at age 59 to enjoy life with his wife Bonnie Stevens to whom he was married on May 11, 1946. He was preceded in death by his eldest son Jack, his brother Gene Stevens, and both his mother and father. He is survived by his wife Bonnie, his son Michael, his grandson Robert Alex Stevens, and several nieces and nephews. He was an avid fisherman and spent the majority of his leisure years doing what he loved most. A private graveside service will take place in Hope Cemetery in Texas Township, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
