Of Portage Passed away Tuesday morning August 2, 2011 at the Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. Hank was born November 9, 1933 in Kalamazoo the son of John and Grace Boogholt Kloosterman. Hank was a carpenter and cement finisher by trade, but his real love was sports, especially his Detroit Tigers. He was an avid hunter and fisherman throughout his life. Hank is survived by his longtime companion, Delores Marr; his children, Sharon Shields, Randy Kloosterman and Cindy DeHaan; his extended family, Lee Marr, Bernie Debra Marr; Dee?s grandchildren, Jennifer and Ryan Marr. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters, Shirley Kloosterman, Katherine Dale Redeker, John Nellie Kloosterman, Walt Hennie Kloosterman, Henrietta Hank Amey, Mart Bev Kloosterman, Jim Kloosterman, Bob Ann Kloosterman, Antoinette Kloosterman, and Margaret Brussee. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Heather, Jamie, Cassandra, Brandon, and Dustin; as well as his great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Dick and Gerrit Kloosterman; sister-in-law, June Kloosterman; and his wife, Henrietta Toots Griffoen. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 o?clock Thursday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre with Pastor Charlie Post officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:00 until the time of service.
